About Jack Cooper
Jack Cooper is one of the largest privately owned auto transport and specialized vehicle logistics providers in the US, with terminal operations located throughout the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, Canada, and Mexico. Founded in 1928 as a carrier for General Motors product from the Leeds Assembly Plant in Kansas City, Missouri, the company is presently owned and operated by the Riggs family, acquired from Jack Cooper's grandson, Thom Cooper, Jr. Jack Cooper has expanded its footprint through acquisitions, including United Transports, Inc. in 1984 and Pacific Motor Trucking Co. in 1988. In 2009, JCT combined with Active Transport LLC of Joplin, MO. DMT Trucking – the fourth largest union car-haul trucking company in the US, joined the JCT family in 2011.

During 2013, Allied Systems Holdings, Inc and certain members of its wholly owned subsidiaries, including AXIS, CT Services and AXIS Mexico also joined the Jack Cooper family, with North American Auto Transportation Corporation joining shortly after. Today, Jack Cooper and its family of brands is a leader in the specialized vehicle transportation industry with award winning performance, including the Outstanding Carrier and Supplier of the Year awards from General Motors.
